The South Downs Way National Trail is accessible to anyone, using any wheelchair. Although I am less than half way along, driving a wheelchair enabled, pony drawn vehicle, from Winchester to Beachy Head, the ponies and I have done the tough bits already.

We started along the banks of Winchester’s trout stuffed chalk stream, cricket pitch to the right, Tennis court ahead, St Catherine’s Hill, plague pits and mismaze behind us and I frequently wonder why I ever left such perfect surroundings.
Now we have reached Uppark, having met main battle tanks,

We are on our way. The mission is simple. The English (and every other) countryside should be accessible to anyone. Pony Axe S means it is.
